1. Information We Collect (in the app)

None.

The Satori app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information, usage data, or analytics. All your meditation sessions, preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage.

2. Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using secure, encrypted storage provided by your operating system (iOS Keychain or Android EncryptedSharedPreferences). This includes:

• Meditation session history
• Streak counts
• User preferences (name, language, theme)
• Audio settings
• Daily reminder settings

This data never leaves your device. It is not backed up to any cloud service by Satori.

3. Third-Party Services (in the app)

None.

The Satori app does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We don't use Firebase, Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any other third-party data collection tools.

3a. This Marketing Website

This website (the page you're reading now) uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, open-source analytics tool that we self-host on our own server (analytics.kraaibeek.tech) in the EU. Your visit data is never shared with third parties.

Plausible is designed to be GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant out of the box. Specifically:

• No cookies and no persistent identifiers are used
• No personal data is collected — your IP address is never stored
• No cross-site or cross-device tracking
• No fingerprinting
• No consent banner is required because nothing identifying is collected

What we do see, in aggregate only: page views, referrer (where a visit came from), browser and operating system family, device type, and approximate country (derived from a one-way hash of your IP that is discarded after the request). This helps us understand whether the site is useful and where visitors are coming from. None of it can be tied back to you.

Important: This applies only to visits to this website. The Satori mobile app itself remains 100% offline and collects nothing — installing or using the app sends no data to us at any time.

4. Network Access

Satori works 100% offline. The app does not require an internet connection and does not make any network requests to our servers (because we don't have any servers).

The only network access is for scheduling local push notifications (handled by your device's OS).

5. Permissions

Satori requests the following permissions:

• Notifications: To send you daily meditation reminders (optional, only if you enable them)
• Audio: To play meditation sounds and background ambiance

None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit any data.

6. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by:

• Using the "Reset All Data" button in Settings
• Uninstalling the app

There is no account or cloud backup to worry about.

7. Children's Privacy

Since we don't collect any data, Satori is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our privacy practices (for example, if we add optional cloud sync in the future), we will update this policy and notify users through an in-app message.

9. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA)

Since we don't collect any data, there's nothing for us to access, modify, or delete. You have complete control over your data because it never leaves your device.
